The Q-ARM (Quantum Agile Resilient Military communications) project, coordinated by Almaviva, has been funded by the European Commission (EC) within the European Defence Fund (EDF). It will run from 2025 until 2028, with the grant agreement no. 101224135.

The Q-ARM (Quantum Agile Resilient Military communications) project will provide crypto-agile, decentralised and quantum secure identity management for defence and critical infrastructure environments. By leveraging both post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution, it will provide defence practitioners with new forms of safeguarding sensitive information amidst this current quantum technology revolution.

The project will last 36 months and has a maximum EU contribution of 5M Euros.

The multinational consortium for the Q-ARM project includes Italy (Z&P, Almaviva, Tecoms), Croatia (HD-INFO), Portugal (N10GLED), Poland (Politechnicka Warszawska, Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna), France (DRI), Bulgaria (AFSEA).
